American Fair in Medan

Banda Aceh (ANTARA News) - The United States embassy, in this case the US Consulate General to Sumatra, will hold an American Fair in Medan, North Sumatra, to better introduce the culture and education in that country.

"The American Fair is an exhibition providing information on the United States," assistant spokesman for the US Consulate General in Medan Wirasaputra M Karim said Thursday.

He said the event opened Thursday provides posters on the US, and free counseling on study in the United States, and capacity reinforcement programs in Indonesia with the support of the US government, and America-Indonesia support organizations.

US Consul General to Sumatra Stanley Harsha was scheduled to open the American Fair at Sun Plaza Food Hall in Medan Thursday.

"The highlights of the occasion will take place on Friday, March 5, with games and the distribution of gifts," Wirasaputra added.
